The British Council is preparing for its Triennial Review - the process through which all UK Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs) are assessed by the government every three years.
Martin Davidson, Chief Executive of the British Council, said: “We welcome the review and look forward to exploring the greater freedoms and flexibilities in hiring, partnering and investing for growth enjoyed by universities and recently given to the UK cultural sector - to enable us to achieve even more 'soft power' for the UK at less cost to the taxpayer.”
