‘India: a billion dreams’ is the first British Council garden at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show in the UK. It is designed by award-winning garden designer Sarah Eberle and celebrates the 70th anniversary of the British Council in India. The design draws on the hopes and dreams of young people in India and the UK and India’s shared love of cricket.
The pack includes background information, discussion points and activities that use gardens to inspire learning across the curriculum. For example, you can use the pack to challenge your students to design and plan a garden and make a miniature version of it using natural and found objects.
The RHS are passionate about helping millions of children to learn how to connect with nature through gardening through their Campaign for School Gardening.
