Foundation English Test is a four-skills proficiency test suitable for vocational schools, colleges and some universities, employment or government agencies and can be used as part of any recruitment, selection or learning and development programmes. It tests all four skills to accurately assess communicative competence at lower levels of language ability and provides meaningful scores for critical decisions on individual candidates.

Foundation English Test is a more appropriate test for organisations as it focuses on boosting employability, and is designed to give people the solid foundation they need to succeed in work whilst raising the organisation's reputation.
