The Aptis test system has from the outset been developed with a strong commitment to research, validation, and documentation. The Assessment Research Group (ARG) was established as a part of this goal, and works to establish the British Council as a global leader and product innovator in the field of English language assessment.

British Council’s Assessment Advisory Board: Bridging Academia

The Assessment Advisory Board Meeting is an annual meeting which takes place between the Assessment Research Group of the English and Exams Department of the British Council, and the Assessment Advisory Board (AAB) which includes external board members from various academic institutions worldwide.
