British Council will anonymously use the information you provide for the Climate Connection Hive campaign and the Climate Connection programme. The data will be part of the project report and campaign to end climate change. This information will be limited to only staff members of the British Council Climate connection project and the research team Green Box.
The legal basis we are relying upon to process your information is your consent. You can remove your consent for us to use your information for this purpose at any time, using the contact details available through the link below.
Newsletter
You may unsubscribe at any time by following the unsubscribe link in the newsletter. We will process your personal information for this purpose again using the legal basis of consent. British Council complies with data protection law in the UK and laws in other countries that meet internationally accepted standards.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold on you, and the right to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in that information. If you have concerns about how we have used your personal information, you also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator.

We will keep the information you have provided in your response for a period of three years, and then it will be deleted (excepting statistics that do not allow you to be identified) from the time of campaign publication. We will keep the information you have provided in relation to receiving the newsletter for as long as this is necessary for us to do so, and you continue to consent to that purpose.
