The ‘VET Toolbox’ will provide British Council partner countries with the know-how, tools and advice to improve the effectiveness of EU Technical Vocational Education and Training reforms.
It will focus on supporting Vocational Education and Training (VET) systems to become more demand-driven and responsive to labour market needs, as well as provide increased access to self-employment, including for disadvantaged groups.
The VET Toolbox project will respond to country needs by providing and deploying high-level expertise and developing the necessary tools, instruments and learning support required. Interventions will be relatively short and targeted, providing countries with fast and flexible assistance to complement broader reform programmes.
The British Council is delivering the project in partnership with lead partner Enabel (Belgium) alongside GIZ (Germany), LuxDev (Luxembourg), and Agence Française de Développement.
VET Toolbox is an EU-funded project worth €1.8 million that started up in October 2017 and will run until 2020.
