International partnerships open your students’ eyes to a wider world. Through connecting with a school in Ukraine and working together on shared activities, you can build international awareness and an understanding of another culture.
The programme offers flexible, collaborative activities on reading for pleasure, developed in collaboration with the National Literacy Trust. It supports you to nurture a love of reading and engage your learners through exchanging experiences with a real audience in another country. Together, partnership schools can explore the benefits of reading as a tool to expand horizons, build confidence and boost mental wellbeing.
Taking part in the programme gives you the opportunity to celebrate Ukrainian language and culture in your school, and we especially welcome applications from UK schools with Ukrainian students.
It’s easy to take part. You’ll start by meeting your partner teacher in person at a fully-funded workshop in Poland, building a strong foundation for your partnership. We’ll support you every step of the way, with training, flexible resources and a dedicated partnership facilitator to guide you on your learning journey.
