He has been Managing Director of Americanos TCS Educational Consultants since 1997 and is a founding member and the Chairman of the Cyprus Association of Educational Consultants. Dr. Americanos is the author of a book on the factors that influence international students’ decisions in choosing a higher education institution.

Professor Baris Alpaslan

Professor of Economics, Social Sciences University of Ankara

Professor of Economics at the Social Sciences University of Ankara, Professor Alpaslan completed an MSc and a PhD in Economics at the University of Manchester. He is Vice President of the Committee of Experts on the 2030 agenda for SDGs at the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO. He has consulted for World Bank, African Development Bank, and International Centre for Migration Policy Development, and is Chief Advisor to Chairman of the Executive Board at IC Holding.

She is passionate about empowerment of women and girls, social justice, and achievement of the SDGs through an intersectional lens.
