In November 2021 we opened the second #DestinationZero climate innovation challenge. We've received applications from around the world. After careful selection and assessment, we are now announcing the Top 10 applicants and their innovations!

Arnold’s idea is a hybrid stove to replace burning of firewood and fossil fuels as the primary method for cooking in rural communities.
Bianca is the founder of Re-Clothing, an enterprise challenging fast-fashion which hopes to bring sustainability to the mainstream.
Bryan’s innovation is the Safe Water Project. This project addresses negative impacts of climate change on the natural environment in the Philippines, specifically water contamination.
Esther’s idea is to develop an eco-friendly, low-cost sanitary pad made from banana fiber, called the Venille pad.
Ichor’s innovation seeks to mitigate the impact of climate change on rural communities who rely on small water systems such as pumps for everyday and agricultural use.
