Request for Proposal for a Research on Transnational Education (TNE) in TVET

The British Council is seeking a consultant or organisation to conduct research which will examine the applicability of TNE to TVET in the UK, explore existing models in the UK and international good practice applicable to UK, and assess their success in advancing the internationalisation of TVET. The research will seek to understand the existing TVET TNE landscape, the existing and potential market barriers as well as to explore future trends in TNE for TVET. It will also assess the potential for British Council to support TNE in TVET in the UK in alignment with the British Council’s TNE strategy.

Expertise Required

The researcher/research team should possess the following expertise:

  1. Excellent knowledge of the UK TVET system and expertise in TNE 
  2. Experience in conducting education research applying mixed methodology. 
  3. Ability to analyse information to provide policy and implementation recommendations.
  4. Ability to write in engaging manner, using clear and concise language.

Bidders should provide a quote for the number of days and a day rate that they anticipate being necessary to fulfil the above as well as a breakdown of costs across the elements.
