MPs celebrate schools offering international opportunities for their pupils.
On 5th December 2018, the British Council hosted a celebration in the Houses of Parliament to acknowledge the work of schools around the UK to foster an international dimension in their curricula. The event saw the Secretary of State for Education, The Rt Hon Damian Hinds MP, British Council APPG Chair John Baron MP, and British Council CEO, Sir Ciaran Devane give speeches of recognition for their hard work. More than 40 MPs from constituencies across England met with school representatives and presented them with the International School Award and heard more about the work of their local schools.
Schools can get started at Foundation, Intermediate, or Accreditation level at any time of year. See https://schoolsonline.britishcouncil.org/isa for more information.
