This collection includes our structuring guide for social enterprises in the ASEAN region as well as our two resouorce packs offering lesson plans and activities for teaching social enterprise in schools. 

ASEAN Social Enterprise Structuring Guide

Packed with practical advice, this guide is designed to help social entrepreneurs better understand the complexities of setting up a social enterprise in eight Southeast Asian countries. Developed with the Thomson Reuters Foundation and United Nations ESCAP, it covers the pros and cons of different legal forms, regulatory and tax obligations, registering with ministries, required permits and more.

Download our free teaching resource offering six lesson plans on social enterprise and the Sustainable Development Goals for students aged 7-14. The lessons help students to explore the needs in your community and develop a business plan for their very own social enterprise, thus developing skills such as citizenship, critical thinking and creativity.

Social enterprise in schools: a resource pack for teachers

This resource pack provides ideas for discussion, activities and a framework to help educators use social entrepreneurship as an engaging project in their school. It is designed to encourage students to develop an understanding of how business can help to address social problems and gain practical experience in setting up a social enterprise of their own, helping them to increase their knowledge of social innovation and develop core skills for learning, life, and work.
