About this online session

In our workplaces and communities, it is essential to create environments where everyone can contribute their best, feel valued, and thrive.

At this Youth Connect Live online event, we explored how soft skills play a crucial and transformative role in shaping inclusive and empowered workplaces, including the following:

  • Emotional intelligence – understanding and managing emotions to build stronger relationships.
  • Effective communication and teamwork – enhancing clarity and collaboration in the workplace, and working together to create a supportive and inclusive culture.
  • Critical thinking & problem-solving – developing strategies to navigate challenges and drive innovation.

Learn about some practical examples and steps from our diverse speakers on how to apply these skills and build more connected communities.
