Sanjay was appointed Chief People Officer in March 2021. He oversees all global human resources capabilities across the British Council and is responsible for driving the British Council's employee experience, talent development and organisational change.
Sanjay joined the British Council in 1986 and worked in Culture & Engagement in a number of roles and later specialising in Human Resources where he has led functions including Business Partnering, Employee Relations and Reward.
