Award winning band, Sons of Kemet gave two electrifying performances and led two masterclasses while in Nairobi.

In February 2016, the British Council Kenya worked with MOBO award-winners Sons of Kemet.

Led by saxophonist, clarinettist, composer and ‘BBC New Generation Artist’ Shabaka Hutchings, Sons of Kemet features four of the UK jazz scene’s brightest stars, who create a revolutionary mix of music that spans jazz, rock, dub and Caribbean folk.
