This tool is a guide which sets out practically and comprehensively how qualifications that meet industry needs can be designed and delivered. It sets out a pathway to designing and delivering qualifications that meet industry needs. Included in the guide are; a checklist to understand when qualifications are appropriate to meet a specific challenge, a roadmap with clear signposting on the steps that need to be taken to work with employers and examples of how training curricula can be developed alongside the qualification. The tool has been developed based on practice in a specific industry but the central steps are transferable and applicable to any occupation.
This tool is developed within the framework of the EU-funded VET Toolbox programme.
